As a consultant I help people gain more insight into their relationship with themselves, their environment and their work. I use a wide palette to create a clear analysis, drawing on my own experience, my career and my personal characteristics.
I combine my roots in psychology with years of experience in consultancy, leadership, and entrepreneurship. I approach career counseling from the perspective that this background offers. Identity, desire or fear, beliefs and meaning are key concepts here.
The possibility of freedom of choice you have in shaping your own career has always fascinated me. Not only because of the freedom, but also because of the confusion that the realization of having that freedom can entail.
I love the joint search for the sources of freedom and the courage to act accordingly. This quest entails a lot: surprise, insight, confrontation, pain, energy, but it always takes place within the confidential and caring environment of the joint conversation.
In addition to my work at Van Ede, I supervise organizations as a manager or consultant.
