After my law studies, I worked at Procter & Gamble, with responsibility for the business results and on-the-job-training of my employees. Later, I ran our family business Maarleveld & Co, an importer of perfumeries and cosmetics.
Since 2013 I am associated with Van Ede & Partners in The Hague, in addition I have my own consultancy company. We provide advice, coaching and training for organizations that want to make their employees more involved in their work, to increase effectiveness and happiness. I also wrote a book on this subject: 'It all begins with people - The power of employee commitment’.
